Thus, the TDS deduction that is given the form 16 or Form 16 A must be checked and cross verified with the help of  Form 26AS. The number of TDS that is reflected in both the forms Form 26AS and Form 16/16A must be the same always.

  • Confirm to verify as much as earlier as you file the return

It is the process of filing the refund and sending the mail of the same to the ITR office in Bangalore for completion of verification. If you have given a hard copy of your refund complaint, then you will receive your refund late in comparison to them who filed it electronically. However, people who have their income above 5 lakh should file their complaints online.

  • Confirm your updated account number

It is one of the common reasons for the delay in the refund. Most of the customers forget to update their recent phone numbers in the income tax department. Always update the account details to get your refund back without any delay.

  • Confirm the correct address

If the correct address of the customer is not given, then the refund will arrive through cheque, and it will be returned to CPC if there is any change in the mail address.

  • Confirm the Return Online

If you submit a hard copy of ITR to Bangalore, then it will take time to return the tax fund. Instead of it, you can choose EVR. It will verify your tax electronically, and your work will be done early.

BEWARE!

If you do not submit tax or not on time, then it will be punishable action, and strict action can be taken against you, so avoid delayed and tax fraud.
